Victorian Heritage Festival
Each September in Northville, the Victorian Heritage Festival takes place. This family friendly festival celebrates the rich Victorian history of Northville, with games, a parade, crafts, live music, and the annual Northville Duck Race.
Enjoy the fun opportunity to reminisce on the heritage of Northville while doing something family friendly and entertaining! The town of Northville was incorporated in 1867, and some current residents live in the restored Victorian homes built by the earliest members of the community.
Maybury Farm
Take a tractor ride to the corn maze or stop by and say hi to all the animals and Maybury Farm. The 85 acre space is a working, educational farm with over 100 animals, gardens, farm-themed playground, and the Maybury General Store.
Just next to the farm is Maybury State Park, a great place to enjoy a fall picnic or the playground. With plenty of walking trails, colorful foliage, and impressive playground that features zip line chairs, ropes course, fast slides, and a firetruck, there's something for everyone.
Parmenter's Cider Mill
One of the first businesses to open in Northville was Parmenter's Cider Mill, growing apples and producing cider since the 1800s. The cider mill is still welcoming guests and is a pillar of Fall celebrations in Northville.
Opening for the season at the end of August, Parmenter's Cider Mill is the perfect place to stock up on all your apple flavored fall favorites. They are famous for their fresh pressed cider and cider donuts, made will apples grown on their riverside orchard. There is also a microbrewery on site for mom and dad to enjoy a fresh, locally made hard cider.
Find the Skeletons
Each year during the Fall, Northville decorates their charming downtown areas with skeletons enjoying all the fun. Take a walk with the kids and see the silly scenes that are set up, perfect for a photo op and full of ways to support small local businesses. The skeletons are out starting October 1st.
Three Cedars Farm
Three Cedars Farm is one of the best places to enjoy festive celebrations all year long, with a different set of things to do in every season. In the Fall, you can enjoy their large pumpkin patch, train rides, hay rides, a corn maze, fresh donuts and cider, and the Barn Yard Playland. This is especially fun if you have little ones, and makes the perfect place for a playdate with new friends or a family day out on the weekend!
