The Grand Blanc Arts Council Will Be Displaying The Paintings All Through November
Deby Kalush, a local artist that has lived in Davison for the past 24 years, is having her art displayed at Genesys Health Park. The Grand Blanc Arts Council is putting the display on, and it is for a great cause: 25% of the proceeds will be donated to Reverence's hospice division to help families offset the cost of hospice care. Deby mainly works in watercolors and oil paintings, and her work has been on display in 2 Michigan galleries since she began painting 10 years ago.
Her work can also be purchased directly from her website. One of the really awesome features of her work is that you can have it displayed on different materials. So if you are looking for a unique gift, her website might just be the place to look. One of the nicest items I have seen in a while are her throw pillows, which display her artwork in an interesting way. They can also be displayed on t-shirts, coffee mugs and assorted items.
One of my favorite things about the holidays is seeing the outpouring of warmth and generosity by individuals and businesses alike. I encourage everyone to check out Deby's display, and hopefully, help out a very good cause.
